Wu style taiji sword is also named as Qiankun Sword, taking quietness, lightness, slowness, cut & performance as the keys of sword. It is one of the auxiliary routines of Wu style taijiquan. It's major 13 postures are stoke, bring, lift, parry, beat, poke, point, block, stir, wash, press, cut, and hack. It is also a mixture of the dynamic with the static and a smart and agile sword skill. Traditional Wu style taiji sword has small frame, proper tightness, exquiste sword skill, continuous sword posture, ingenious skills, with various, continuous and lingering usage and gentle and natural features. The movements are arranged rationally, as Yin and Yang, are separated at starting from and closed at closing form while the fake and real are clear, and related with each other in each movement. It contains vary attack and defense everywhere and is an agile and delicate attacking skill. When practiced, it is flexible and easy to master, mixing the dynamic and the static with each other, appropriate length of the routine, easy to learn.
